What's wrong with a plastic toothbrush?
Its bristles are nylon, a plastic. Every brushing wears them and releases tiny fragments into your mouth: at least 2.3 million particles per person per year according to a 2025 study. URVA has no plastic to shed.
Boar or horse bristle?
Boar is firmer, for a deep clean on healthy gums. Horse is our softest, for sensitive gums. The 4-box pack includes a free box of the other so you can try both.

Is it vegan?
No. Natural bristle is an animal fibre, which is why it sheds no plastic. "Plant-based" bristles are made from castor oil but are still plastic.
